Kick Guys

Kick Guys! A game where you kick guys into stuff.

This was a (very) small personal project that took me about ~5-6 months to finish. The goal of this project was to learn the Unity engine and workflow, and all the features implemented in this game was a learning experience for me.

Inspiration for this game mainly came from the kicking mechanic in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. I felt like there weren't many games that let you kick your enemies and have them ragdoll across the ground, so I thought to replicate it in Unity. Hopefully I made it just as satisfying!

Oh, there are a ton of bugs still left in this game, mostly physics bugs that I can't be bothered to replicate or fix because Unity's physics engine is... yeah. There's a 'restart level' button in the pause menu if you get stuck or an enemy ragdoll starts to flail like it's possessed.

Lastly, big thanks to my friends for lending their voices to this project - your yells and screams complete this game.
